MERIC is a turmeric-based joint supplement for dogs that helps to maintain healthy, flexible and free moving joints. It helps to reduce blood vessel dilation, decrease swelling and redness. Thanks to its antioxidant qualities, it can also help to fight off free radicals (highly reactive, oxygen-containing molecules that can damage cell membranes, enzymes and even DNA).
The supplement contains a 95% standardised amount of curcuminoids (the active ingredients), making it one of the strongest and most potent formulas on the market. The black pepper extract (piperine) was added to maximise its bioavailability (the amount available to be used by the body) and consequently its benefits.

TURMERIC EXTRACT
Contains the active ingredient curcumin, which is a potent natural anti-inflammatory with powerful antioxidant properties. Some of the benefits include promoting heart and liver health, healthy joint maintenance, support of digestive health.
BLACK PEPPER EXTRACT
Black pepper extract and the compound called piperine found in it is one of the methods used to improve turmeric’s absorption. The natural bioavailability (how easily the body can absorb a substance) of turmeric is quite low. According to one study, taking piperine along with curcumin can increase its bioavailability by astounding 2,000%.
These are soft twist capsules with the turmeric powder inside that can be opened if needed.
You can use Meric alongside other joint supplements. If they already contain turmeric, simply lower the amount of Meric by that amount.
Meric is safe to give for dogs of all ages. It will particularly help older dogs with mobility issues though.
Yes, in Meric can be given to puppies older than 12-weeks. However, just to be sure it’s ok in your particular case, we always recommend checking with your veterinarian first as they will know your pup best.
All dogs are different and their condition varies but most of our customers notice changes between 2–4 weeks of using the supplement, if not earlier.
