Kalmi is a cold pressed hemp oil, it doesn't contain any THC.
Can this help with my dog's anxiety?
Yes, hemp oil can help with anxieties as it promotes calmness and relaxes the dog. However, as with other calming products, we'd recommend combining both – a calming supplement with a positive association training to ensure the best results. Please contact a dog behaviourist to work out the training plan.
Can this help for travelling in the car?
Yes, Kalmi can help when travelling. We advise to start taking the supplement at least one week before the planned car journey as well as to start a positive association training with the car prior to the journey. This will guarantee the best results.
Is Kalmi the same as CBD oil?
No, Kalmi is a hemp seed oil and it doesn't contain CBD. While both oils derive from the cannabis plant, CBD oil comes from the flowers, stems, and leaves, while hemp seed oil comes from the seeds only.
Can Kalmi be given to a puppy?
Yes, in most cases Kalmi can be given to puppies older than 8 weeks. However, just to be sure it’s ok in your particular case, we always recommend checking with your veterinarian first as they will know best.
