Raw Lamb & Venison Bowl for Puppies

This raw lamb and venison puppy meal is a higher-energy recipe designed to support the intense nutritional demands of growth.

Ingredients (to make ~1,000 kcal)

• 210 g – Raw lamb meat (15% fat)
• 210 g – Raw venison meat
• 50 g – Whole raw sardines
• 40 g – Olli All-in-One Homemade Diet Supplement
• 25 g – Beef liver
• 25 g – Lamb/pork sweetbread (pancreas)
• 8.5 g – Antler powder
• 1.5 g – Turmeric (ground)
• 0.3 g – Sea salt
  

Please note: this recipe is not nutritionally complete on its own. To make it suitable for everyday feeding, we add Olli All-in-One Homemade Diet Supplement, which supplies calcium and essential vitamins and minerals that cannot be reliably provided by raw ingredients alone.

If you’re not using Olli, you would need to provide the missing nutrients yourself. Per 100 g of this recipe (without supplements), that means adding approximately: 0.25 g calcium, 0.14 g chloride, 0.36 mg iodine, 0.76 mg manganese, 7.40 mg zinc, 10.44 IU vitamin E, 0.01 mg thiamine (vitamin B1), 78.8 mg choline, 0.37 g linoleic acid (LA) to meet minimum puppy nutrient requirements.

Directions

1. Add the raw lamb and raw venison to a large bowl. If using meat chunks, cut them into bite-sized pieces. If using mince, gently fluff it with a fork to separate the strands.
2. Add the raw sardines. Smaller puppies may benefit from the sardines being chopped. For larger puppies, sardines can be added whole.
3. Finely dice the beef liver and lamb/pork sweetbread (pancreas) and add them to the bowl.
4. Add the ground turmeric.
5. Add a small pinch of sea salt.
6. In a separate small dish, add Olli and mix with a splash of cooled boiled water to form a smooth paste.
7. Add the Olli paste to the meal. The mixture may turn green due to spirulina. This is completely normal. 
8. Add the required amount of Antli deer antler powder.
9. Mix the meal thoroughly so all ingredients and supplements are evenly distributed.
10. Serve immediately, or portion and freeze. Thaw meals fully in the fridge before feeding.
