Nourishing Beef Casserole for Adult Dogs

A slow-cooked, easy-to-digest beef casserole designed for adult and senior dogs. Rich in protein, gentle carbohydrates, and essential micronutrients, this recipe becomes complete and balanced when finished with Olli. Ideal for dogs who thrive on gently cooked meals.

Ingredients (to make ~3,000 kcal)

• 990 g – Beef (10% fat)
• 340 g – White potatoes
• 180 g – Olli All-in-One Homemade Diet Supplement
• 150 g – Carrots
• 150 g – Green beans
• 85 g – Salmon (tinned, in water, drained)
• 75 g – Beef liver
• 25 g – Nutritional yeast
• 7 g – Ground turmeric

Please note: this recipe is not nutritionally complete on its own. To make it suitable for everyday feeding, we add Olli All-in-One Homemade Diet Supplement, which supplies calcium and essential vitamins and minerals that cannot be reliably provided by raw ingredients alone.

If you’re not using Olli, you would need to provide the missing nutrients yourself. Per 100 g of this recipe, you would need to add approximately 1.3 g calcium, 0.05 g magnesium, 0.28 mg iodine, 0.71 mg manganese, 6 IU vitamin D, 9 IU vitamin E, 132 mg choline, and 2.3 g linoleic acid (LA) to meet minimum requirements.

Directions

1. Cut the beef, liver, potatoes, carrots, and green beans into evenly sized pieces.
2. Place the beef, liver, and chopped vegetables into a slow cooker or heavy-based pot.
3. Add turmeric and pour in just enough water to cover.
4. Cook on low heat for 6–8 hours, or until everything is soft and fully cooked.
5. Stir in the salmon and nutritional yeast at the end of cooking.
6. Allow the casserole to cool completely.
7. Once cooled, mix in the Olli whole food supplement thoroughly. 
8. Portion into containers. Refrigerate for up to 3–4 days or freeze for later use.
